Program Description
4Results is a high quality mentoring program that matches adult volunteer mentors in a one-to-one relationship with a child. All mentors are rigorously screened and must pass a background check before being accepted into our program. Volunteers receive 10-16 hours of training before they are matched with the child that they choose and then receive ongoing training opportunities and support from the 4Results staff after they have been matched. Mentors commit to meeting with their friend either at school or in the community 1-3 hours a week for a minimum of twelve months.
Population Served
Youth ages 7-18 in Clark County, WA who are receiving mental health services or have a parent in prison. Children are referred to our program by their mental health therapist and are identified as needing a consistent, trustworthy adult in his/her life to act as a role model for him/her.
